September 12, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. The special operation "Security" will be held on the Belarusian Railway from September 23 to 27, the press service of Belarusian Railway informed BELTA.
The special operation will be conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs jointly with the Belarusian Railway in all regions of the country across all six divisions of Belarusian Railway. Its aim is to prevent non-production-related injuries and road traffic accidents at railway transport facilities.
"A set of measures is envisaged, involving employees of the Belarusian Railway, the State Automobile Inspectorate and transport internal affairs departments. This includes daily joint raids at stations, stopping points and railway sections," the press service noted. The main task of the raid groups is to prevent crossing railway tracks in unauthorized places, to record violations of railway crossing rules, and to prevent citizens from being on railway facilities while intoxicated.
Additional inspection of the technical condition of pedestrian crossings, railway crossings, and train approach warning systems is also planned. Special attention will be paid to explanatory work in work collectives and educational institutions located near railway facilities. Preventive actions, distribution of leaflets at stations on the topic of observing safety rules on the railway, and other measures are envisaged. -0-
