On November 7, an incredibly warm evening of reminiscence was held at the RDC!

It wasn't just a concert. It was a journey through time:

We sang together "Years Fly By...", "Rowan Beads" and "Blue Fog". We guessed hits from the first notes and Soviet TV programmes from their opening sequences! We recited lines from "Ivan Vasilievich..." and "The Caucasian Captive" in unison. We composed chastushkas and recalled "what colour surprise is".

The evening concluded symbolically and poignantly. All together, artists and audience, performed the anthem of life and hope – the song "I Love You, Life!" accompanied by the folk vocal group "Veteran".

As is customary for a true Soviet celebration, the farewell was not an end, but merely the beginning of a dance evening. To the sounds of once-forgotten, yet so familiar melodies, guests continued the evening, reminiscing about their youth, friends, and that great country they all hailed from.

It was bright and a little sad. How could it be otherwise when recalling an entire era?
