The district House of Culture became the main venue for the celebration.
For January-October 2024, agricultural products worth 94.6 million Belarusian roubles were produced, with a growth rate of 113.8% compared to the corresponding period in 2023, including crop production – 138.6%, and livestock production – 105.5%.
In 2024, 33.1 thousand tonnes of grain were threshed, which is 182% of last year's level, with a yield of 31.4 centners per hectare. Rapeseed production amounted to 2.5 thousand tonnes, or 101.3% of last year's level, with a yield of 13.6 centners per hectare.
In the livestock sector, the production (rearing) of cattle and poultry this year amounted to 13.6 thousand tonnes, including an increase in cattle by 12.2%, poultry – by 7.1%, and pigs – by 6.6% compared to last year.
Gross milk production in the agricultural organisations of the district for 10 months of the current year amounted to 17.0 thousand tonnes, with an average milk yield per cow of 3033 kg.
