From 20 to 26 November, the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct the republican preventive event "Save Your Life!" in the Lepel region, aimed at stabilising the road safety situation across the country.

  The campaign is aimed at drawing the attention of pedestrians and cyclists to the importance of strictly observing the rules of safe road behaviour, the mandatory use of retroreflective elements and high-visibility clothing in the dark, as well as in adverse weather conditions.

  Enhanced traffic surveillance has been organised with the involvement of all public security police officers. Special attention will be paid to identifying drivers and pedestrians who grossly violate traffic regulations.
