The schedule of regional authorities' representatives includes a meeting with the staff and visits to social facilities in the town.
The first stop on the guests' route was the Lepel Children's Art School. Together with their colleagues from Lepel – Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee Veronika Khomchak and Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee Svetlana Shevelyova – the guests met with employees of the cultural institutions of the Lepel region, as well as the Centre for Ensuring the Activities of Budgetary Organizations of the District.
The discussion was held within the framework of the Unified Information Day, and its key theme was the country's main political event – the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
Our task is to interact with staff and students, explaining the importance of observing the Constitution of Belarus, which we adopted together. It clearly outlines the requirements for the election campaign and ensuring security in this process. We must do everything possible to avoid a repeat of the events of 2020.
Special attention must be paid to young people, as this category will be the focus of our opponents. We are already observing increased activity, including fake news and provocations, and this will only intensify. Therefore, it is important to maintain constant dialogue with young people, discussing their concerns, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov.
The presentations on the main topic evolved into an open dialogue.
