Today, a joint meeting of the regional coordination council for the implementation of Decree No. 18 and the commission for juvenile affairs of the regional executive committee was held.

The event was attended online by Veronika Khombak, Chairperson of the Commission for Minors of the District Executive Committee, Tatyana Chesnokova, Deputy Chairperson, and other interested parties.

  The following issues were considered:

  on the elimination of previously identified violations of legislation in the organisation of work of state bodies of several districts on the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children, prevention of violence against minors, and commission of offences by them;

  on the results of interdepartmental interaction to reduce the number of crimes against the sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of minors;

  on the outcomes of the organisation of summer employment for minors.

  Also considered was the submission from the Vitebsk Region Prosecutor's Office "On the Elimination of Violations of Legislation on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, the Causes and Conditions Contributing Thereto".
