Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, met with members of the Youth Council (Parliament) under the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus from the Vitebsk region. Kristina Dorokhova, a member of the Youth Council and a teacher at the Lepel Children's Art School, participated in the seminar from the Lepel district. – The Youth Parliament from the northern region is a promising personnel reserve, the country's potential. Interesting and eventful activities await you, participation in significant socio-political events, and decision-making concerning the implementation of youth policy. They participated in the regular session of the Regional Council of Deputies. They visited the Museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union Minay Filippovich Shmyrev of the Vitebsk Region. The seminar participants also laid flowers at the memorial on Sovetskaya Street in the regional centre.
Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, met with members of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Working Youth. Daria Mikhailova, a member of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Working Youth and a labour protection engineer at the Lepel branch of the Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society, participated in the meeting. Welcoming the seminar participants, Vyacheslav Durnov emphasised the importance of engaging young people today so that they settle in their localities and continue to work in the regions. The Regional Council of Working Youth visited OJSC "Vitebskiye Kovry", where, after an excursion around the enterprise, the young people discussed the council's goals and objectives.
