In honour of the October Revolution, flowers were laid at the monument to Vladimir Lenin in Lepel.

  Festive events and campaigns dedicated to the anniversary of the October Revolution are taking place across the country today.

  In Lepel, a floral tribute was laid at the V.I. Lenin monument on Freedom Square. Representatives of political parties and public organisations, work collectives, and activists participated in the event.

  Svetlana Shevelyova, Head of the Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Department of the district executive committee, and Grigory Chuyes, First Secretary of the district committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, addressed the participants. The residents of Lepel recalled the historical events and the impetus this date provided for the genesis of Belarusian statehood.

  Our republic has preserved and multiplied the achievements of October; we have something to be proud of, and we are confidently moving forward!
