In Minsk, at a republican internal meeting, the results of the work of OSVOD organizations for the past swimming season were summarized. A pleasant part of the meeting was the award ceremony.

  Among those who received awards is our fellow countryman. For high professionalism, conscientious work, and a significant contribution to solving state-significant tasks of protecting people's lives on the water during the 2024 swimming season, Igor Mikhno, head of the ОСВОД rescue station in Lepel, has been awarded.

  As noted by Andrey Chernyavsky, Chairman of the Republican State-Public Association "Belarusian Republican Society for Rescue on Water", this swimming season turned out to be one of the most intense. First and foremost, this was influenced by the consistently hot weather established throughout the entire swimming season. However, the number of drownings remained at the level of the same period last year.
