As part of the week of prevention of juvenile crimes in the sphere of illicit drug trafficking, volleyball competitions were held at the Lepel College.

  The event was attended by teams of students and teachers from the college, as well as employees of the district internal affairs department.

  - Sport can be an effective tool in preventing juvenile delinquency by fostering teamwork, responsibility, and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle among young people, - noted Tatiana Lyakh, inspector of the Juvenile Inspectorate of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs.  The winner of the tournament was the college team, which received a diploma and a sweet prize.

  The organisers of the event hope that such sports meetings will become a good tradition and help draw attention to important social issues.

  It is important for young people to understand that sport is not only an opportunity to prove themselves but also a way to avoid negative influences that can lead to offences.
