The new Sports and Recreation Centre houses two swimming pools. The adult pool features a large basin with three swimming lanes, each 25 m in length. The children's pool, 10 m long, is suitable for water activities for toddlers up to six years of age.
Swimming sections and clubs are already open at the Sports and Recreation Centre, welcoming enthusiasts of all ages.
The centre also includes a sauna with a plunge pool. A separate entrance has been equipped for the convenience of those who wish to simply warm up and enjoy the health benefits of the hot steam. Additionally, a gym with fitness equipment has been opened at the Sports and Recreation Centre.
The first few months of operation of the new facility have shown that the residents of Lepel are pleased with the centre and attend classes with great enthusiasm; the swimming section is also fully subscribed.
