Pupils of the Lepel Judo School represented their hometown with dignity at the open championship of Vitebsk.

  The Open Championship of Vitebsk city in judo among boys and girls born in 2010-2011 is held annually with the aim of developing and popularising judo in the Republic of Belarus, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and enhancing sportsmanship.

  For boys and girls, participation in the competitions is an excellent opportunity to make a name for themselves. This is how the strongest athletes are identified, who may subsequently become members of the regional team and participants in larger competitions. This is preparation for upcoming starts, a ticket to serious sport.

  This time, Lepel athletes David Kostyukovich in the weight category up to 38 kg and Zakhar Tukhto in the weight category +73 kg reached the top step of the podium.
