The Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies approved Alexander Rogozhnik as Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee.

Alexander Rogozhnik was born in 1976 in Gomel.

In 1998, he graduated from F. Skorina Gomel State University with a degree in "Accounting, Control and Economic Analysis", after which he served in the internal affairs bodies.

In 2009-2011, he underwent retraining at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus with a degree in "State Management of the National Economy".

He began his professional career in 1999, taking up a position as an inspector in the "Gomel-Passenger" department of the Gomel Customs checkpoint.

In different years, Alexander Rogozhnik worked in the manufacturing sector, headed the Minsk Motor Plant, and then led the Ministry of Industry.

From June 2024 to the present day, he served as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation.
