Competitions are held in three age categories. This year, 82 schoolchildren will compete for the titles of the best. Traditionally, the tournament is attended by children who do not engage in biathlon and cross-country skiing at specialized educational and sports institutions.

Due to the absence of snow cover, the cross-country ski race has been replaced by a run over the same distance.

Today, boys of all age groups are competing. "Snow Sniper" is one of the most popular competitions of the Presidential Sports Club among children and adolescents, which allows identifying children with potential, with the possibility of further development and entry into professional sports.
