The district stage of the republican sports and patriotic game "Zarnitsa" was held at the Educational Institution "Borovlyanskaya Secondary School named after G.K. Zhukov of Lepel District".

The competition was dedicated to an important anniversary – the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The teams competed in a parade and song review titled "We are the Great-grandchildren of Victory," demonstrating their skills in paramilitary and sports contests: grenade throwing, a 250-meter run, shooting, and rifle assembly and disassembly.
