A working meeting on the development of a humanitarian project to establish rehabilitation and multifunctional medical and labor workshops for people with disabilities in Vitebsk was held at the social rehabilitation and habilitation department for disabled people of the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Lepel District.

The event was attended by Vera Astapenko, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Olga Shpankova, Head of the Department for Professional Development and Scientific, Innovative, Forecasting Activities of the State Educational Institution of Additional Education for Adults "Vitebsk Regional Institute for the Development of Education", directors of the Territorial Centers for Social Services of Vitebsk, and chairpersons of public associations of disabled people.

It was announced that the workshops will include training, rehabilitation, habilitation, adaptation to work activities, accommodation, and subsequent employment.
