A practical training session on organizing evacuation measures, deploying reception points for temporarily resettled population, and the work of reception and accommodation groups for temporarily resettled population was held at educational institutions in the city.

The main topic of the training was the organization and implementation of measures for the preparation of a reception point for the reception and accommodation of temporarily evacuated population from zones of potential natural and man-made emergencies in peacetime and wartime, as well as the practice of the reception point administration's practical actions according to its purpose.

For this purpose, groups for the reception and accommodation of the population, an information desk, a medical post, a public order security group, and a psychologist's room were deployed.

The training was attended by members of the evacuation commission, the administration of the reception point, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, the Department of Internal Affairs, employees of the Lepel Inter-District Committee of the Red Cross Society, medical workers of the Lepel Central District Hospital, as well as employees of the Lepel District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, and students of the Lepel State Agrarian-Technical College.
