Wild animals on the roads! Be careful when driving outside populated areas.

Road traffic accidents caused by wild animals entering the roadway are, unfortunately, not uncommon occurrences.

Ungulates are currently attracted to road surfaces treated with sand and salt mixtures.

The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds:

If a wild animal appears in the path of your vehicle or on the roadside, you must immediately reduce your speed to a level that allows for an instant stop.

Drivers should also remember that wild animals are most active during dark hours, so as dusk approaches, increased vigilance and an appropriate speed should be exercised.
 

Sections of roads with nearby trees and shrubs pose an increased danger.
