As part of the campaign, traffic police officers checked how drivers comply with the rules for transporting children.

Law enforcement officers not only identified violations but also reminded drivers of the importance of adhering to safety regulations when transporting the most vulnerable passengers.

As reported by the traffic police, children under 5 years of age must be transported in a passenger car using child restraint systems that are appropriate for the child's weight and height.

Children aged 5 to 12 years must be transported using restraint systems or other devices (booster seats, special seat cushions, additional seats) that allow the child to be secured with the vehicle's safety belts.
