Here reside the inhabitants of our protected forests. Visiting this place offers an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with forest dwellers in conditions close to their natural habitat.
The enclosures with wild animals play an important role in environmental education, alongside the Nature Museum.
Here, 22 wild animals, 6 birds, and 75 domestic animals are housed. In the forest zoo, you will meet the "big five" – the elk, the European bison, the bear, the wolf, and the lynx.
Also within this territory, you will encounter other animals such as the red deer, the fallow deer, the wild boar, the roe deer, the fox, and the raccoon dog. There is also space in the zoo for the inhabitants of our skies.
The forest zoo is open for visits daily, without days off or lunch breaks, from 9:00 to 18:00 during the summer period (May – September) and from 9:00 to 17:00 during the winter period (October – April).
