To talk with those who, for one reason or another, are in no hurry to contribute to the country's economy, there arrived Viktor Azaryonok, Deputy of the House of Representatives, Igor Urban, leader of the district's deputy corps, Oksana Tereshkova, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, representatives of the Department for Labour, Employment and Social Protection, and the Department of Internal Affairs.
Residents of the Kamensky Village Council who evade employment, and some of whom also abuse alcohol, were invited to the commission.
"To orient citizens who are not officially employed for one reason or another, in the economic situation developing in the republic as a whole and in the district in particular, as well as to offer them suitable vacancies, is part of our work," said Igor Urban, the commission's chairman. "The second part is to exclude from the 'idleness' database citizens who have provided documents confirming their employment."
"Our state does a great deal for the social protection and support of citizens, but, unfortunately, not everyone appreciates it, choosing the path of dependency and idleness. The commission's work is aimed at overcoming such negative phenomena. The lack of official employment leads to a whole host of problems. The most obvious is lack of money, which is often associated with an anti-social lifestyle. However, participation in financing state expenditures by paying taxes is a citizen's duty, enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus," Viktor Azaryonok emphasized.
