Natalia Kovriga, head of the state institution "Lepel District Educational and Methodological Center," addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech. Natalia Nikolaevna congratulated everyone on the bright holiday and noted that the Nativity of Christ unites and warms people's hearts. This blessed time strengthens faith, gives hope for positive changes, reminds of the importance of harmony among people, and also returns to the origins of eternal values.
Young performers narrated the story of the divine infant Jesus appearing in the world through songs, poems, and dances.
The audience warmly welcomed the performances of Alexander Leshkevich, who recited the poem "One of the Days of the Calendar," students from the Starolepel Basic School named after A. A. Marunko, Polsvizh Basic School named after N. N. Tomashevich, Zaslonovo Secondary School of Lepel District, Staia Secondary School, the District Center for Children and Youth (Domzheritsy), the Agrarian-Technical College, the Gymnasium named after I. M. Erashov, Secondary School No. 1, Borovaya Secondary School named after G. K. Zhukov, pupils of Sunday schools, Starolyadnya Kindergarten-Basic School named after P. F. Zanko, and other performers.
Choral singing and solo performances, vibrant costumes, and soul-stirring poems all indicate that the young residents of Lepel prepared for the holiday with enthusiasm and diligence.
