A ceremonial rally dedicated to the holiday took place in the square on the town square. Paying tribute to the defenders of the Motherland of past times, the participants of the event laid flowers at the graves of the fallen, at monuments and obelisks.
A wonderful gift for the residents of Lepel was prepared by the servicemen of the Zaslonovo garrison: an exhibition of military equipment and weapons, a field kitchen, a military band and a concert program. Representatives of the most courageous professions also took part in the exhibition - rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and OSVOD.
A children's drawing exhibition became a memorable element of the general celebration.
A ceremonial meeting and concert "To the True Sons of the Fatherland" was held at the RDC. The festive atmosphere was created by musicians from the concert group "Gvardiya" of the 19th Separate Guards Nikolaev-Budapest Red Banner Order of Suvorov II degree Mechanized Brigade.
