New Year is a holiday eagerly anticipated by both adults and children. Fun and joyful laughter are the emotions typically associated with celebrating the New Year. However, even during festive merriment, it is important not to forget about safety.
To ensure that the Christmas and New Year holidays are not marred by fires and emergencies, rescuers will traditionally conduct the republican campaign "Safe New Year!" from December 15, 2025, to January 07, 2026. The campaign will be held in two stages.
During the 1st stage, from December 15 to 24, the target audience will be schoolchildren, so events will take place in general education institutions. Rescuers will conduct interactive educational sessions with children on preventing emergencies due to careless handling of pyrotechnic devices, using educational games. They will explain safety rules during the winter holidays and invite participation in themed contests and quizzes.
The 2nd stage of the campaign will be held in places with mass gatherings of people. In shopping centres, markets, Christmas tree sales points, and places selling pyrotechnic products, rescuers will organise interactive platforms to remind people of safety rules and congratulate everyone on the upcoming holidays. Participants in the events can expect themed quizzes, contests, and lotteries.
