Belcoopsoyuz purchased over 170 units of modern energy-saving equipment last year. This was stated at a press conference by Viktor Korolev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Belcoopsoyuz, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"Approximately Br6.2 million in capital investments were directed towards modernising production facilities and developing the material and technical base of Belcoopsoyuz's industrial sector last year. Over 170 units of modern energy-saving equipment were purchased and commissioned. Significant attention is paid to improving the quality and refining the technology for producing new types of products. Last year alone, the product range was updated, and over 500 product items were introduced," said Viktor Korolev.

He explained that Belcoopsoyuz's industrial enterprises are engaged in selling goods through non-systemic organisations. Currently, consumer cooperation accounts for slightly over 20% of the country's bakery product manufacturing. Approximately 60% is sold through its own retail network, while 40% is accounted for by external buyers.

"The high quality of consumer cooperation's industrial products is confirmed not only by customers but also by the competent opinion of professionals. This is evidenced by diplomas and awards received at national and international exhibitions and competitions," stated the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Belcoopsoyuz.
