Do not ride a moped with a tractor driver-machinist certificate!

In accordance with Article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Road Traffic", a person entitled to drive a motor vehicle of at least one category or subcategory "A1" is entitled to drive a motor vehicle of category "AM".

In accordance with Article 24 of the said Law, motor vehicles (with the exception of wheeled tractors) and vehicle combinations are divided into categories and subcategories designated by capital letters of the Latin alphabet and an Arabic numeral - "AM", "A", "A1", "B", "C", "D", "BE", "CE", "DE", "F", "I".

Wheeled tractors and self-propelled machines are divided into categories designated by capital letters of the Latin alphabet - "A", "B", "C", "D", "E", "F".

Thus, a person driving a moped and entitled to drive only a wheeled tractor and a self-propelled machine violates the Traffic Regulations. Liability is provided for in accordance with Article 18.19 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offences and amounts to from 5 to 20 base units. In case of repeated violation within a year - from 20 to 50 base units.
