From April 8 to 13, the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct a preventive event aimed at improving the safety of passenger transportation by taxis.
In the first quarter of this year, taxi drivers were involved in 40 road traffic accidents, in which 9 people sustained various injuries.Traffic police patrols will monitor compliance with safe transportation conditions, traffic rules, and vehicle operation. Interdepartmental raid groups are aimed at suppressing the activities of illegal carriers.
If violations of the procedure for admitting drivers and faulty vehicles to passenger transportation are detected, administrative measures will be applied to the heads of business entities.
