At the start of the sowing campaign

With the aim of timely and high-quality spring sowing campaign, the board of the Agriculture and Food Department and the district committee of the Agro-Industrial Complex Workers' Trade Union have resolved to organize a district operational competition among agricultural enterprises and machine operators. The competition results will be summarized weekly, and the best performers will receive awards funded by the monetary and material resources of the agricultural enterprises. The main criteria are the largest percentage of sown areas (for enterprises) and the output for specific types of work (for machine operators). Leading workers will be weekly entered on the Honour Board, which is published in the district newspaper "Lepelski Krai".
