Participants of the gathering – officers of combat training management bodies – were introduced to the latest methods of training personnel for modern combat.

The main issues discussed during the gathering included the use of and countermeasures against UAVs, tactical medicine, and combat operations in urban and forested areas.

Comment by the Chief of the Main Directorate for Combat Training of the Armed Forces, Major General Vladimir Bely:

"During this gathering, we involved the category of personnel directly responsible for the management and planning of combat training. These are deputy commanders, heads of combat training departments, deputy commanders of regiments and brigades, battalion commanders, and their deputies. These are precisely the officials whose quality and competence determine the success of military units and formations.

The distinctive features of this gathering included an emphasis on combating unmanned aerial vehicles of various scales and types. We have developed our own system based on the experience of modern armed conflicts.

This year, we have completed the creation of a training and material base at practically all training grounds, which allows us to train troops in these specific skills."
