At the fields of KUPSHP "Lepel'skoe" there was a special atmosphere – the ancient agricultural holiday of Zazhinki was widely and heartily celebrated here.

To the sounds of folk songs and heartfelt wishes, the most important time for the grain growers has begun – the harvest season. Those who are to lead the harvesting campaign gathered for the celebration: the district leadership headed by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Mikhail Kiselevich, agricultural specialists, trade union leaders headed by Natalia Monchik, and of course, the grain growers themselves – those whose hands will gather the harvest.

By tradition, the celebration began with the "zazhinki" ceremony. With bread and salt on an embroidered rushnyk, and with words of gratitude to the earth, the mother of all, the participants of the ceremony walked through the field.

A special moment was the tossing of the first sheaf, which, according to ancient custom, is meant to bring luck to the harvest.
