At a fire in Lepel district, 59.99 tons of grain mixture were saved by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and agriculture.

On September 13, at 19:37, rescuers received a report of a fire at the grain cleaning and drying complex in the agro-town of Stai, Lepel District.

Upon arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units at the scene, fire was observed inside the drying chamber. At the time of ignition, the shaft was loaded with 60 tonnes of a grain mixture of barley, wheat, and oats. 59.99 tonnes of the grain mixture were saved by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees in cooperation with the agricultural enterprise employees, while 10 kg were damaged.

4 units of Ministry of Emergency Situations equipment were involved in the operation at the incident site. An investigation into the incident is underway.
