A meeting of the operational headquarters, responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of student detachments during the upcoming work semester, was held at the Lepel District Executive Committee. Elena Prusskaya, chief specialist of the Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Department of the District Executive Committee, spoke about the organization of student detachment activities in 2026. It was noted that the development of the student detachment movement remains one of the key areas of work to ensure temporary employment for young people during their free time from studies. Over the past 5 years, more than 1000 young people have been successfully employed within student detachments.



The analysis of work demonstrates a confident positive trend in both the number of formed detachments and the number of fighters employed in them. Thus, in 2021, 10 student detachments operated, employing 131 people. In 2022, the number of detachments increased to 17, providing work for 202 people. In 2023, 19 detachments operated in the district, employing 208 people. In 2024, a sharp increase in indicators was observed, with 34 detachments formed and 334 people employed.



In 2025, high work rates were maintained. 33 student detachments were formed, employing 347 people. Attention was paid to youth requiring special attention: 17 teenagers, with whom individual preventive work is carried out, and 8 young people recognized as being in a socially dangerous situation were employed in the detachments. This year, it is planned to employ about 430 people at 15 sites.



The second item on the agenda was the election of the commander of the territorial headquarters of student detachments and the holding of promotional campaigns "We Choose Student Detachment!" and "Work is Cool" in the district's educational institutions. Veronika Sychik, second secretary of the Lepel District Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, was unanimously elected commander of the Lepel territorial headquarters of student detachments.
