On November 28, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. It is planned to allocate over Br650 billion for the implementation of investment program measures in the Vitebsk region in 2013, the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies informed a BELTA correspondent. When developing next year's investment program, special attention is paid to housing construction, the creation of engineering and transport infrastructure in new residential areas, the implementation of a comprehensive program for the development of Polotsk, and the reconstruction and major repair of healthcare, education, physical culture, and sports facilities. The main facilities expected to receive investment were named by the regional council: a dormitory for the cadet school in Luzhesno, two residential buildings for orphans in Ulla, Beshenkovichi District, and Tolochin, a kindergarten and a palace of game sports in Polotsk, an Ice Palace in Orsha, a central district hospital in Miory, an arena for the Vitebsk School of Olympic Reserve, a polyclinic in the Yug-7 residential area, a therapeutic building of the regional children's hospital, the therapeutic building No. 1 of the regional infectious diseases hospital, building No. 2 of the regional oncology dispensary in Vitebsk, a basic school in Litosovo, Senno District, a health and recreation center in Dokshitsy, and a cultural and recreational complex in Ushachi. This year, Br358.2 billion was allocated for the regional investment program. The main share of investments was made in the housing and communal services and housing construction sector – about 49%; healthcare facilities ranked second in terms of invested funds. The investment program funded the construction of residential buildings for orphans in Braslav and Ushachi districts, the reconstruction of the "Slavyansky" hotel complex and Peter I's House in Polotsk, the completion of the construction of a hospital in Sharkovshchina and a bus station in Braslav. -0-
