On July 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The building of the "Urbany" border crossing point in Braslav district was built with funds from the Union State, Denis Glebko, assistant head of the Polotsk Border Guard Detachment, told a BELTA correspondent. The new border post building is combined with the "Urbany" border control department of the Polotsk Border Guard Detachment. On the territory, an administrative building, a dormitory for personnel, garages for service vehicles, a boiler house using local fuels, two artesian wells, a wastewater treatment plant, a vehicle maintenance and repair facility, a kennel for service animals, a fuel storage warehouse, a diesel generator, and a sewage pumping station have been erected. The construction was financed within the framework of strengthening the border of the Union State and implementing the Concept for the Development of the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Belarus for 2008-2017. Br16 billion was allocated from the Union State budget for the work. The official opening is expected to take place on July 24 with the participation of the heads of the State Border Committee and the leadership of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. -0-
