The creation of a new landscape object is a manifestation of the respect of the students and educators of the institution for the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.

- Volunteers from the "Kind Heart" detachment and teachers were involved in this work. The creation of memorial sites, such as our "Kurgan of Memory – Altar of the Future," is not just a tribute to the past. It is a living history lesson that allows us to touch it, feel its importance, and pass it on to future generations. This project is our contribution to the formation of historical memory, based on a deep understanding of the value of peace and heroism. The landscape object, through symbolic elements, figuratively and emotionally reflects the memory of the Great Patriotic War. As part of the project dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory, we installed a commemorative plaque, and in the lower circle of the hill – four spheres with begonias. The symbolic center is three rowan trees, reminding us that every third person in Belarus perished during the years of the war. These saplings were kindly donated by the Lepel Forestry Enterprise, - noted Svetlana Stelmakh, the college's educator-organizer.
