Measures are being taken across the Vitebsk region to prevent road traffic accidents involving enterprise transport.

The preventive campaign will run until April 30. The main goal of the events is to improve road traffic safety and strengthen transport discipline among drivers of business entities.

First and foremost, traffic police officers will check drivers' possession of driving licenses, vehicle roadworthiness for participation in traffic, the technical condition of vehicles, and cargo transportation regulations.

The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds drivers and heads of motor transport enterprises of the strict observance of the requirements of the Traffic Regulations, ensuring that the technical condition of vehicles complies with road traffic safety requirements, and preventing the operation of vehicles with defects that threaten road traffic safety.
