On December 20, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Alexander Lukashenko won the presidential election in Belarus, having garnered 79.67% of the votes. According to preliminary voting results, the incumbent head of state was supported by 5 million 122 thousand voters. This was announced today at the CEC Information Centre by the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, Lidia Yermoshina, BelTA reports. Grigory Kostusev received 1.97% of the votes, Alexey Mikhalevich - 1.2%, Vladimir Neklyayev - 1.77%, Yaroslav Romanchuk - 1.97%, Vitaly Rymashevsky - 1.1%, Andrei Sannikov - 2.56%, Nikolay Statkevich - 1.04%, Viktor Tereshchenko - 1.08%, Dmitry Us - 0.48%. 6.47% of voters voted against all candidates. According to Lidia Yermoshina, voter turnout was 90.66% compared to 92.7% in 2006.
