Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister and member of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council from the Republic of Belarus, will take part in the EEC Council meeting on July 15. The event will be held in Vitebsk. The agenda tentatively includes 21 items: it is planned to discuss industrial cooperation, the formation of a common gas market, the collection of indirect taxes, and competition policy.
The press service of the Council of Ministers noted that it is planned to approve a list of priority integration infrastructure projects in the transport sector of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. The draft list is based on the list of joint transport and infrastructure projects of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. It includes seven projects. The implementation of these projects is aimed at developing Eurasian transport corridors and routes, as well as enhancing transit potential within the Union.
In order to align export regulation measures adopted by the Union member states and ensure the effective functioning of the internal market, it is planned to approve indicative (forecast) balances for wheat and meslin, barley, corn, sunflower seeds, sugar, sunflower oil, recovered paper or cardboard (waste and scrap), and waste and scrap of ferrous metals.
Attention will also be paid to the formation and approval of the agenda for the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which is planned to be held on August 25-26 this year in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyz Republic).
