23 September, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. The professionalism of the precinct commissions working on the elections to the National Assembly was noted in a conversation with journalists by the CIS observer Anatoly Pevnev, BELTA correspondent reports.
A group of international observers visited 14 polling stations in Polotsk, Shumilino district, and Vitebsk. Regardless of whether the commissions worked in the city or in the countryside, all their members were highly professional and competent in matters of electoral law, noted Anatoly Pevnev. "Thanks to such work of the precinct commissions, the voting proceeded without tension," he added.
Communicating with voters, Anatoly Pevnev noted that each candidate has their supporters and opponents. At the same time, the election campaign was conducted calmly and at a high organizational level, he emphasized. "Our opinion on the elections to the National Assembly of Belarus is objective - they are proceeding without violations of the Electoral Code," the observer added. -0-
