12 May, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Preparations for the Fourth All-Belarusian People's Assembly have begun. On 11 May, the President of Belarus signed Decree No. 150rp "On Certain Issues of Preparation for the Fourth All-Belarusian People's Assembly," as reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.
A Republican Organizing Committee has been established to prepare and hold the Assembly. The co-chairmen of this committee have been appointed as the Head of the Presidential Administration, Vladimir Makei, and the Prime Minister, Sergey Sidorsky.
An interdepartmental working group has also been established to develop the draft Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Belarus for 2011-2015. The co-chairmen of this group are the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Leonid Anfimov, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Andrey Kobyakov.
By 1 July 2010, proposals on the date of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly and the number of its participants are to be submitted to the Head of State, and the draft of the main provisions of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Belarus for 2011-2015 is to be prepared. -0-
