22 October, Minsk /BELTA/. Aspiring Belarusian entrepreneurs will present their ideas in the TV project "My Business", the premiere of which will take place on 23 October on the ONT TV channel. This was reported to BELTA by the project organisers.

ONT TV channel, Belarusbank, MTS, Development Bank, Beltelecom, Zubr Capital, and the Business Angels and Venture Investors Association "BAVIN" announced the launch of a new grand educational television project, "My Business", in early June this year. More than 700 entrepreneurs from different parts of Belarus expressed their desire to create or improve their businesses.

Aspiring entrepreneurs and companies were given the opportunity to personally present their ideas. Based on the results of preliminary selections, 30 potentially interesting participants remained in the project. In the first three programmes (23.10, 30.10, 06.11), viewers of the ONT TV channel will see the most striking and original presentations. The authors of the best ideas will present to the country's most successful businessmen, who know how to make money and manage large companies.

Project mentors shared their expectations. Oleg Khusayenov, General Director of Zubr Capital management company, believes: "Business can and should be done. It must be done in the country where you live. For example, I am very interested to see businesses from the provinces, from different regions and districts of Belarus in the project."

Alexander Polyvko, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC ASB Belarusbank, added: "Small business is the locomotive of the economy. It is the first to emerge from a crisis, the first to find jobs and new development opportunities. But it needs to be supported. I would like society to turn its attention to it."

According to Alexander Knurovich, a business angel participant in the TV project and head of the Sarmat group of companies, "everything that is done in Belarus is done seriously and for the long term." He would like this image to be preserved.

Denis Tereshchenko, Head of Marketing Department at Mobile TeleSystems LLC, noted: "Today, business is like a short game with long-term goals. That is, one needs to take action very quickly to steer the course of one's ship."
