Influenza circulates annually according to specific biological laws. The virus that caused a surge in morbidity in Southeast Asia in the spring arrives in Europe in the autumn. By analyzing information about viruses, medical professionals create vaccines against the influenza strain that has appeared in the current year.
Over 7,000 residents of the town and district have already received vaccinations, thereby reliably protecting themselves from this disease and its severe consequences. However, there are still 150 doses of vaccine available for paid influenza vaccinations for the population. 900 doses of vaccine are intended for vaccinations funded by enterprises and institutions. Heads of work collectives, in order to minimize work time losses and maintain the proper health level of their employees, should ensure vaccination for at least 30 percent of their total staff.
The optimal timing for vaccinations to ensure the most effective development of immunity against the upcoming seasonal increase in morbidity is October-November. Vaccination can be administered at the polyclinic of the Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central District Hospital" and at rural medical outpatient clinics (Kamien, Domzheritsy, Slaboda, Zaslonovo, Borovka, Veselovo). A doctor examines the patient and gives permission for this preventive procedure before vaccination. Safe vaccine administration and medical supervision are ensured.
If the head of an enterprise or institution decides to protect their work collective from influenza, maintain a normal work rhythm, and proper labor productivity indicators, they should contact the Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central District Hospital" by calling: 4-85-84, 4-12-34. A vaccination team, consisting of a doctor and a mid-level healthcare professional, will visit the enterprise or institution and vaccinate employees without significantly disrupting their production or official duties.
