There are no disagreements between the Presidents of Belarus and Russia regarding the establishment of joint work on import substitution against the backdrop of imposed sanctions. This was stated by the Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with the Governor of the Perm Krai of Russia, Dmitry Makhonin, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"After all these imposed sanctions, we need to rely on our own resources, develop our own, engage in import substitution in all areas. Let's overcome this together. Allegedly, there are some barriers. At least, we have no disagreements with the President of Russia in this regard," the Belarusian leader stated.

"We must not only demonstrate to everyone that we can manage without those who do not want to work with us, but we must also demonstrate that we can achieve a lot more. Therefore, we are at your service both for supplies and for cooperation. Because simple trade should be conducted. But the most reliable option is when we are linked to each other, and our enterprises work on a cooperative basis," said Alexander Lukashenko.
