On December 18, Minsk /Anna Kot - BELTA/. Naftan OJSC will transfer a part of its profit for the results of January-September of the current year, exceeding the part of profit calculated and transferred to the budget, in the amount of Br600 billion to the state targeted budget fund for national development by December 29. This decision is contained in Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 1158 of December 14, 2012, as reported to BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Belarusian government.
The resolution comes into force after its official publication. The document is adopted in accordance with Decree No. 637 of December 28, 2005 "On the procedure for calculating the part of profit of state unitary enterprises, state associations that are commercial organizations, as well as income from shares (stakes in authorized capital) of business entities owned by the republic and municipalities, into the budget and on the formation of the state targeted budget fund for national development".
The Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry is instructed to ensure the timely and full transfer of a part of the profit (income) of Naftan OJSC to the republican budget. The Ministry of Finance is obliged to submit information on the implementation of the resolution to the Council of Ministers by January 31, 2013.
The Novopolotsk oil refinery was commissioned in 1963. In 2002, the enterprise was corporatized, and in 2008, it was reorganized by merging with the large chemical enterprise Polimir OJSC. According to the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, Naftan OJSC is the largest taxpayer in the Vitebsk region. For 10 months of the current year, the enterprise paid about Br3 trillion to the budget, forming 34.3% of the consolidated budget of the region. -0-
