Russian, Kazakh and Belarusian oil refiners will operate under common unified technical regulations within the EAEU. According to Vladimir Tretyakov, while Russian oil refining enterprises face the task of switching from producing Euro-2 standard gasoline to Euro-3 standard, Naftan OJSC already produces Euro-3 standard gasoline and intends to start producing Euro-4 standard gasoline by the end of the current year.
The enterprise links further development prospects with deepening oil processing and reducing fuel oil production. Vladimir Tretyakov believes that the operating conditions within the EAEU will promote the integration of oil refining enterprises in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Naftan OJSC is a fuel, oil and aromatic products enterprise and produces about 70 types of certified commercial products, including "Normal-80", AI-92 and AI-95 automotive gasolines, diesel fuels, jet fuels, boiler fuels, fuel oils, lubricating oils, petroleum bitumens and solvents, and individual aromatic hydrocarbons. The entire volume of diesel fuel is produced in accordance with Euro-4 and Euro-5 standards. The Novopolotsk oil refinery was commissioned in 1963. In 2002, the enterprise was corporatized, and in 2008, the company was reorganized by merging with a large chemical enterprise - Polimir OJSC. -0-
