Vitebsk, 3 April /BELTA/. Br101.8 billion has been remitted to the consolidated budget of the Vitebsk region by economic entities applying the simplified taxation system in January-February, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the press centre of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region.

As of March 1, 2013, over 14,000 economic entities in the Vitebsk region were applying the simplified taxation system, including over 6,000 legal entities (43.2% of the total number) and about 8,000 individual entrepreneurs (56.8% respectively).

In January-February, Br101.8 billion was remitted to the consolidated budget of the Vitebsk region from this category of taxpayers, or 5.5% of the total receipts for the period, including Br81.9 billion from organisations and Br19.9 billion from individual entrepreneurs. Receipts per taxpayer applying the simplified taxation system amounted to Br7.3 million. One organisation applying this taxation regime accounts for Br13.5 million, and one individual entrepreneur for Br2.5 million.

The largest amounts of payments made to the budget from this category were from economic entities registered with the tax inspectorates of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus for the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk (Br15.9 billion), Novopolotsk (Br14.6 billion), Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk (Br11.9 billion), and Orsha (Br11.9 billion).-0-
