The organization was transporting shoes in a truck without the accompanying documents required by law. As a result of the inspection, the shoes were seized. In Gomel, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties inspectorate for the Sovetsky district discovered a batch of grey mobile phones worth a total of Br34.4 million from an individual entrepreneur. The goods were not marked with control marks, and documents confirming their purchase were missing. The phones were being sold at one of Gomel's markets in the trading facility of the individual entrepreneur. Furthermore, during the inspection of the facility, it was found that the individual entrepreneur had hired an employee, who was not a close relative, to work for him. This control measure was carried out based on information obtained from the Internet. Another case of shadow business was uncovered in the Brest region. As a result of an inspection, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties inspectorates in the Brest region seized a car and mobile phones worth a total of Br420 million. Through a test purchase, unregistered entrepreneurial activity was detected. A citizen was delivering and selling mobile phones using a vehicle without being registered as an individual entrepreneur.
