Following checks of car parts traders, tax inspectors have additionally charged taxes of almost Br280 million, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region. In January-May, as a result of 88 inspections of business entities and individuals selling spare parts for vehicles, taxes totaling Br279.3 million were additionally charged, and goods and materials, as well as illegally obtained income worth Br298.9 million were seized and confiscated. In addition, three cases of unregistered entrepreneurial activity were identified. The amount of fines imposed amounted to Br105.9 million. Tax authorities also inspected online stores selling spare parts. One of the owners of such a store faced administrative penalties under Article 12.18 of the Code of Administrative Offences of Belarus in the form of a fine of Br2.2 million for selling brake discs without the necessary documents. -0-
