Kristina Dorokhova, a member of the Commission on Culture and Interethnic Relations of the Youth Council under the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, held an intellectual historical quiz for the working youth of Lepel District titled "We Are Given the Right to Remember," dedicated to the history of the Great Patriotic War.

The event took place at the Lepel Children's Art School and brought together young people from the Department for Emergency Situations, the Repair and Mechanical Plant, the Lepel Forestry Enterprise, KUPP "Borovka," the Children's Art School, and the District Culture House.

The event was organised with the support of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Lepel District Executive Committee.

"Such projects are our conscious choice and our responsibility to the generation of victors. It is important that young people not only know the dates and events but also understand the price paid for our peaceful sky today," noted Kristina Dorokhova following the quiz.

The winners received diplomas, and all participants gained a new reason to be proud of the history of their small homeland and country.
