The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds amateur anglers that, in accordance with paragraph 3 of part 4 of chapter 6 of the Rules of Amateur Fishing, it is prohibited for citizens to be in fishing grounds or on adjacent territories within one kilometre of the shoreline of fishing grounds with prohibited fishing gear and (or) fish, the catch of which is prohibited in this area and at this time, or the weight of which exceeds the norms established in paragraph 11 of these Rules, without documents confirming the legal possession of the fish, or to move (transport) such gear and (or) fish.

Citizens shall bear responsibility for this offense in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, namely part 3 of article 16.25 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus.
